Suspect Detained After Bank Robbery At Navy Federal Credit Union In Vb
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. A Navy Federal Credit Union on Laskin Road in Virginia Beach was robbed Friday morning, but police say the suspect is in custody.
It happened just before 9:30 a.m. at the location in the 1900 block and the suspect was detained after.
In an update Friday night, police said they has arrested 59-year-old Robert John Lun, of Lithonia, Georgia, after the robbery.
He was taken into custody within 30 minutes of the robbery, police said.
Preliminary investigation by police indicated that Lun allegedly entered the bank and demanded money.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he allegedly fled the scene.
No injuries were reported.

My daughter is having great difficulty getting a mortgage loan from Navy Federal. She more than qualifies but this process has taken over 4 months! Her “loan officer” does not pick up her phone or respond to her Emails. The electronic age has taken the “service” out of customer service, unfortunately. My daughter is trying to buy the product you sell….a loan…but this loan officer is acting like Navy Federal needs the business!
The young blond all the way on the end was quick and nice, but I left my tervis mug & I’d like it back but there’s no phone number tip the actual branch
