How To Prepare For Joining The Army
Want to be a soldier? You better prepare for joining the Army before you talk to a recruiter.
Being a military member is not an easy decision to makeor rather, it shouldn’t be one. If you want to join the military police force, or just become an Army doctor, then it’s assumed that you have put a lot of thought into that decision.
The Army is one branch of the Armed Forces that tends to be a particularly heavy decision to make, simply because they do so much work abroad. If you have decided that the Army is right for you, then by all means, join.
One thing that most people don’t know is that you really do have to prepare for joining the Army if you want to make it in. Here’s what recruiters want you to know.
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Exam
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is administered to all potential members of the U.S. military prior to enlistment and at the beginning of basic training. In order to qualify, potential Army candidates must score a 31 or higher. The examination consists of 10 short tests to be completed within three hours. This test is used to determine whether a candidate has the mental aptitude for military service, and it helps to identify the Army jobs for which an individual is qualified. Before We Start We Want To Emphasize The Importance Of Thinking This Decision Through
The Armed Forces are no laughing matter. If you are considering a job in the Army, then you really need to think about it. Consider the following points before you prepare to join the Army’s ranks:
- You will have a minimum amount of time that you have to spend in the job. You cannot just quit an Army job. You have to show up, whether you like it or not. Refusing to work will get you court marshalled. Are you okay with that?
- Pay isn’t good, but benefits are. All the cool types of people you see off base? Yeah, they earn more than you. The benefits, though, tend to be great.
- You also won’t have control over where you live or what you do. The Army will dictate to you what you’re going to need to do, including where you live, whether you stay in the country, and what you do.
- Your family may freak out. They may not want to hear about you joining the Army, because it’s very dangerous compared to other jobs.
S For Joining The Military
Start by doing some research about your options for joining the military. Learn about the five active-duty branches and their part-time counterparts. Know the main differences between officers and enlisted members. And explore the career fields you can enter for each branch.
Once you know which branch youre considering, contact a recruiter. A recruiter will give you an overview and answer your questions about that service. If youre interested in more than one branch, contact a recruiter for each. If youre interested in joining as an officer, the recruiter will explain any options you may be eligible for.
If you decide to enlist, you will report to a military entrance processing station . Youll spend a day or two completing pre-enlistment steps. These include taking the ASVAB, having a physical exam, meeting with a career counselor, and if youre accepted, taking the oath of enlistment. From there youll receive orders for basic training, usually to start within a few weeks. If you enrolled in a delayed entry program, youll go home and get orders for basic training within a year.

How To Prepare For Indian Army Racing And Physical Test
Racing is the real deal for anyone who participates in Army recruitment, especially for candidates who want to join as soldier GD. Let me tell you one thing very clearly, if you are not willing to endure pain, then you should not dare to go for the army.
Preparing for the racing part of the Bharti is the prime example of enduring pain. You need to be in regular practice. Its totally up to you how much effort you will put, I can just give you some tips that will make things a bit easy. So, here they are:-
Maintaining regularity is the most important part when preparing for the Race of Army Bharti. You can not just run 1 mile without any practice with your top speed, and to add to that you have to run with the crowd.
So, if you thought you can do it without practice, then you are an idiot. Your stamina will not build in just 1 day or 1 week, you will at least need 2 months to be on top of your preparations. So, start running regularly at least 1 or 2 miles before 2 months of Bharti. Though, it will be great for your health if you do it always.
How to begin
First, you need to have a strong will, because then only you will be able to push your limits. If you have decided that you will start running from tomorrow, then stick to it, dont be lethargic.
If you pick the morning time for running, then make sure that you get to freshen up first, after all, you dont want to be bothered while running!
